A student and parent favorite! Footprints of the Mind: Global Adventures for Children is back with a number of after-school workshops to send your traveler around the world!

Winter and Spring Programs at Beaubien!

February 15: Chinese New Year
We are painting the town red! Discover the age old traditions of China while sweeping away bad luck and bringing in good fortune! This celebration will include red lanterns, learning how to use chopsticks, and the meaning behind the Lai See. Students will bring home our favorite red dragon craft project!

March 15: Leprechaun Madness
Wander Our World and take off on an amazing journey to the Emerald Isle! During this workshop, students will complete an awesome craft project, a leprechaun trap! Bring your creative minds because we will do whatever it takes to catch that little fellow! Don’t tell the Leprechauns what we’re up to!

April 19: Earth Day
Every day is Earth Day of course, but did you know that the USA recycles less than 30% of plastic bottles? We are going to lessen the burden by learning what we can do and also upcycling plastic bottles into something cool – a funny face planter to welcome spring and a rocket themed piggy bank!

June 7: World Oceans Day
Life below water is the 14th Sustainable Development Goal and is essential in providing food, oxygen, and medicine to the whole world! We are going to raise awareness of this incredible resource by creating an outstanding community art project that will be publicly displayed for all to see!
