Dear Beaubien Parents and Families, The safety of our school community is always my top priority, which is why I am writing to notify you of a situation involving our school. This morning, containers with an unknown substance were found outside on school grounds. We immediately secured the containers, notified the CP Office of Safety and Security and the Chicago Police Department (CPDJ, and relocated recess while the investigation was underway. This matter will be handled in accordance with CPS policies, and I will update you with any new information. No students or staff were physically harmed.
