Dear Beaubien Bulldog Families,
What a Beautiful weekend! I hope everyone was able to get outside and soak up some sunshine! It’s hard to believe but Spring Break is right around the corner. Spring Break is the week of Monday, March 29, 2021 – Friday, April 2, 2021. Students return on Monday, April 5, 2021. If you are planning on traveling, please be sure to follow the safety protocols CPS & CDPH have put in place. Guidelines are attached below.
The deadline for opt-in forms has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, to provide families additional time to complete the form. If you are interested, please fill out the form CPS sent you or call the main office at 773-534-3500. Due to over 55% of our students returning to hybrid learning, we will no longer be able to offer instruction 4 days a week. Students will be split into 2 different pods. Pod A will be on Mondays and Tuesdays. Pod B will be on Thursdays and Fridays. At this time, all siblings will be slotted for Pod B. Wednesdays will continue to be a remote day for all K-8 students. Students with an IEP or who are English Language Learners will continue to have the option to come 4 days a week. Your child’s homeroom teacher will be reaching out to you the first week of April, to inform you of their pod assignment.
Opening our school safely requires for all of us to work together by complying with safety protocols.
- Complete the health screener for each child before 7:30 every morning. – www.cps.edu/healthscreener.
- Students, parents, and staff must wear a cloth face covering.
- Maintain social distancing during arrival and dismissal. 5th-8th grade parents, please continue to stay on the outside of the main fence.
- Practice good hand washing hygiene
Thank you for all of your support!
