On Friday, CPS held their Regional Science Fair. There were about 72 projects and 87 presenters. Beaubien had four 8th grade representatives.

Lauren M. received an ‘Excellent’ award with her project Absorption Rate in Colors (physics). Julia T. received an ‘Outstanding’ award for her project called Bubble Bubble Boil and Trouble (earth science). Finally, Tiffany P. and Sasha S. received an ‘Outstanding’ award for their project Water is Clean, Right? (chemistry).

Students who received outstanding awards are advancing to the City Science Fair at the Museum of Science and Industry in March. These girls all worked very hard and the Beaubien community should be proud of their achievement.

Congratulations to our students and best of luck at the City Science Fair!
